Difference between "haven't slept for" and "haven't slept in"

What is the difference between these two sentences?

"I haven't slept in 3 days."

"I haven't slept for 3 days."

Trying to figure out if there is a difference in meaning and when/how I would use either one. Thank you in advance.

They both say the same thing. It seems to me that "in" is more natural. CJ
