Difference between 'Fact' and 'Action"?

I give a couple of examples below. Please tell me where I am wrong.

1. I see him cross the road every day on his way to school.

2. I can see him cross the road every day on his way to school.

3. I see him crossing the road from my upstairs window.

4. I can see him crossing the road from my upstairs window.

Now my questions are as follows

1. Do the example 1 and 2 express the habitual event and carry the same meaning?

2. Do the example 3 and 4 express the present event at this very moment and carry the same meaning?
