Difference between facing with and faced with

Hi:

What is the subtle difference between "facing" and "faced with" in the following sentence?

Sentence:Facing/Faced with a difficult situation, Henry decided to keep working.

**Facing with a difficult situation... is wrong, isn't it, It should be facing a difficult situation,... right?

Thanks very much!
