Difference between 'does fall' or 'does falls'?

What is the difference when you say:

1. Why does it falls to the ground?
2. Why does it fall to the ground?

Are both questions correct grammar?

My guess is,

1. Speaker is confirming the reason
2. Speaker is asking the reason
