Difference between "discrimination" and "prejudice"?

What is the difference between "discrimination" and "prejudice"? Or are they the same? Can you please explain?

Does "Discriminating" mean exactly the same thing as "prejudiced"?

Make sure you're careful to distinguish between the parts of speech (eg., nouns, verbs, and adjectives.) That can make a difference.

"Prejudice" can be a feeling or an opinion, but "discrimination" usually has to involve some kind of action.
(Of course, you can perform/commit an "act of prejudice.")
