Difference between dating/seeing someone

Hi,
Is there any difference between these?
Are you dating someone?
Are you seeing someone?
Do you have a girl/boyfriend?

Thanks.

There is not such difference between seeing and dating but "Seeing" someone means going out on casual dates, getting to know each other while "Dating" someone depicts things get more romantic.

These are all asking a similiar question, but the level of the seriousness/committment is what is differs between each option."Seeing" is the least serious. You are going on dates, but you may have other dates with other people."Dating" is more serious. You are going on dates, and not ready to consider that person a girlfriend/boyfriend, but you are routinely seeing the same person."Girlfriend/

Sorry about the "is" in my first sentence. This was a typo.

Thank you both very much for your kind replies.
How about "Are you in a relationship?"? Does it mean ' do you have a boy/girlfriend'?

People usually refer to a relationship as a sexual relationship.
So depending on the culture and the people involved, you might have relationship while you are seeing someone, or you are dating. I cannot imagine a boyfriend and girlfriend without any relationship.
I hope it helps
Cheers

Hi
Which one is correct?
Are you going out with anyone?
Do you go out with anyone?
(It refers to a romantic relationship)

What's the differencebetween 'go out with' and those terms mentioned above?

Thanks for your reply.

Both are correct grammar. But 'Are you dating / Are you seeing' seem more idiomatic to me.
