Difference between can/could send

Hi,

Can someone clarify me the difference between:

Could you also send it to me?
and
Can you also send it to me

You can use both of them interchangebly if you want but if you want to sound kind and formal use "could". " may sound rude . Also "can "has the meaning of ability to do someting..

1. Could is more formel than Can.
2. Could is more polite than Can.
