Difference between "appointed to" or "appointed in"
Hi guys
I recently came across this sentence, nuance of which confused me. It is regarding the usage of the verb "Appoint". Please help me identify the correct or more appropriate usage.
(1) He was appointed "in" the committee.
(2) He was appointed "to" the committee.
Thank you.
