Difference between 2 sentences

Is this any difference between two sentence?
1. I wish i had done it earlier.
2. I wish i had it done earlier.

  • (somebody else did it for you) Strictly speaking, you should have written "I wish I had had it done earlier" in the second.

Strictly speaking, you should have written "I wish I had had it done earlier" in the second.
