die of/die with

Hi,

She died of a broken heart.
She died with a broken heart.

Are both of these sentences correct? I am not sure of #2 at all.

Both are correct.

Sentence 1 we have the cause of death.

Sentence 2 we have the state of her heart at the time of death.

How about "from a broken heart"? To this day, I still can't differentiate between die of and die from. Emotion: sad
