Alright here are the both sentences She doesn't know Chicago because she hadn't been out of her town until a year ago [Meaning that she still doesn't know Chicago because it's only been a short while since her first travel outside her town] She didn't know Chicago because she hadn't been out of her town until a year ago[Meaning that she didn't know Chicago but she does now] Well, I say they're both correct but someone else says that only the second one is correct Thanks for your help in advance
