'DIDN'T TAKE NO *** OFF NO ONE'

Hello,
I think I understand the meaning of this expression but I'm not sure, could someone explain it to me?:

'My father didn't take no shit off nobody.'

Thanks in advance, Jo.

The triple negation ( didn't, no, nobody ) and the indelicate *** are meant to add emphasis. It is an informal expression of: My father wouldn't accept abuse from anyone.
