Did you watch "The Village"?

what do you think about "the village" if you watched it ?

I watched it last week, It was not very bad but the final of the film was nonsense. I was disapointed.

yeah, the ending was silly, i was geared for a scary movie with monsters. you can imagine my dissapointment. it had a kind of interesting twist though.

I watched it a few weeks ago. I was ready for a dodgy ending as my friends warned me. But I must admit even through the dodgy ending I was still abit freaked about the whole 'they lived in a national park' thing & no one outside knew *&#?! I guess that's the extent that some people like the Amish have to go through to maintain their tradition. Thank goodness the girl was blind..eek I'm nasty.

Actually I think the film puts quite a good point forward. The villagers sought to go back to what they thought would be the simple life, free of the problems of contemporary society. But no matter how far back you go, there will always be deviants within any one society. This is probably a good argument against hippie communes.

But to be honest I also found the supposed monsters ridicu

I liked the movie but I think it was marketed badly. It was presented as a horror film in the trailors but it was more of a thriller.

Nice movie, but I prefer The Sixth Sense, or Signs (in that order).
