"Did the repair man look at the iphone?" is this correct?

"Did the repair man look at the iphone?"

Is there a better way to say this? (it sounds a little awkward)

A repairman in this context is understood but not quite the right word for a high-tech device like the I-phone.

So I would suggest "the technician" instead of repairman.
