Did or have

Hi,

Does the verb 'know' have any preferred special tense treatment regarding its use in the simple past or the present perfect? For example,in the sentences below, which choice is the better and why?

1.Did you know/have you known that he is guilty?
2.Did you know/have you known that from the start?
2.Did you know/have you known him from school?

Thanks.
