Did last week/ had done last week

The teacher sends his students the presentation he delivered 1 week ago. The next day I say: "We'll be able to learn this lesson more easily because you sent us the presentation we did/had done last week.

Which one is correct and why? Should it be had done because of "sent"?

This is my preference: The teacher sends his students the presentation he delivered 1 week ago. The next day I say: "We'll be able to learn this lesson more easily because you sent us slides of the presentation you delivered / made last week. The past perfect is unnecessary because the sequence of actions is quite clear.
