Hi,

I am just wondering how you say about doing Internet.

Do you say like "I surfed the Internet last night" or do you say like "I did the Interent".

I generally prefer to avoid the vernacular. I particularly dislike "surfing the Internet" for some reason. So I usually just go ahead and make it more specific and meaningful:

"I researched on the Internet . . . ."
"I browsed the Web . . . ."
"I chatted online . . . ."

This also helps to break you of the habit of referring to the Web as "the Internet." The
