Did I write this right?

I think they are both from the same school because they both have a star logo on their shirts.

Did I write this sentence right? Should shirts be singular or plural? I want to say that I think the two boys are from the same place because they are wearing the same clothing.

Top answer

Both sound correct to me, although 'shirt' (singular) may cause confusion. 'Shirts' (plural) is clearer.
