Did I use the word "conatus" correctly.
My purpose is to describe survival and the purpose of life.
So in less complex words I want to explain that the continuity of animate beings would be unrealistic if life was nonexistent.

If that is what you are trying to say, you have missed the point. This is just the chicken-and-the-egg observation: a chicken is an egg's way of making another egg.
