Did I punctuate correctly?

"I would love to see this book to be read by higher volumes of people, but if I'll put in the effort and translate, I will not be able to get paid for my time spent into such project."

Is the comma before 'I will not be able to....' correct? I see that 1st clause is independent, 2nd has a conjunction 'but', and the 3rd is independent. I thought that the middle clause with 'but' now can serve as an introductory to the 3rd clause. Did I get it right?

Thanks.

It has other problems than punctuation: I would love to see this book read by more people, but if I p ut in the effort to translate it , I will not get paid for it.
