Did I get it right?

LAW : CRIMINALITY ::
A. ritual Emotion: surpriserthodoxy
B. leadership : submission
C. consensus : factionalism
D. lesson : falsehood
E. rehabilitation : vacillation

(Choose a word pair expressing a relationship most similar to that of the given pair.)

The answer is C, but I would prefer D. The function of law is to prevent and eliminate criminality; however, consensus is just the purely antonym of factionalism.

Thus, the choice D "lesson: falsehood" would be better (because lesson is to prevent and eliminate the falsehood).

Thanks in advance.

I would agree with C. Criminality is contained within the larger set of Law. Factionalism could be said to be contained within the larger set of Consensus (which is not necessarily unanimous agreement, but just a collective opinion, i.e., of multiple factions).

Another way to view it:

A lack of law allows free rein to criminality: a lack of consensus allows free rein to factionalism.
