Did anyone knows what "pelle" and "colfskin" means ?

Idesperatly try to understand what could this words means " pelle" and "colfskin", an english -french translation will be welcome ( please note that I know that they are materials like leather etc);

An urgent answer is needed please!

" pelle" I don't know. 'Pelle' is part of the name of at least one leather company, so are you sure it is not simply a brand name?

Maybe vellum? This is a prepared animal skin (usually calfskin or lambs skin) that was used instead of paper for writing. Many old manuscripts are on vellum.

I don't know if this has anything to do with what you want to know, but "pelle" means "leather" in Italian. That's what we call "leather".

I think you are on to something. I'll bet it is a mistranslation from the original (whatever) to "pelle" instead of vellum.

well, I don't know, I don't even know where the original poster came across that word. It might actually be the Italian word that was used for commercial purposes, maybe because the original poster was dealing with Italian leather shoes, or leather purses designed by some Italian fashion designer, or something like that. "Pelle" is the usual word to refer to "leather" in Italian:
