Did + 2 More Verbs In One Sentence

Hello.

I'm having trouble figuring out wich of these sentences is right. When you use did, all the verbs in one sentence turn into present simple or just the verb "closer" to it?

Example:

Which one is correct?

"Did you just copy a comment and posted it?"

or

"Did you just copy a comment and post it?"

Thanks in advance.

" "Did copy" is one verb and "did post" is the other. When the single "did" distributes to two different verbs, they must be in the same form. ( base form , in this case) Prosecutors often repeat the "did" to trick you into confessing to both actions: Did you take her home and did you stab her to death?

Both do.
It's tempting to call this the present simple, but it's not accurate.
