However, he drinks a lot and smoke too.

1] Some people know the dichotomy of his life.
2] Some people know dichotomy of his life.

I know the word dichotomy is countable.

I know the word dichotomy is countable. Yes, so #2 is not correct.



As a minimum, I'd reword #1 as
