Diary entry

Hi, i have to write a diary entry(native language german) but im not sure with some parts.
Can anyone take a look at this and correct it?

Today, Thuesday the (datum einfügen), I awoke bye a phone call. Me and my friends got up and started the first day in England. As breakfast there was toast with jam, Cornflakes, English Tea and orange juice. It was delicious, not so bad like the teachers said. 

Joyce gave us Lunchpackages with fish sandwiches, a banana, orange juice, chips and a chocolate bar. With her we drove(<---drive nur wenn man selbst fährt oder?) with the car(by car?) to the meeting place, where we changed to the bus and drove to London. There arrived we first went to the Victoria-Albert museum to pick up our guide. In the following hours we were guided to all important sights - Big Ben, Westminster, London Eye, Kensington, The Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, River Thames and much more. 

At the Royal Albert hall we got out and walked to Buckingham Palace . On the way down there, we saw some police on horses and in uniform. Arraving at Buckingham Palast the we saw the “Changing of the Guards”, which was very impressing to see how these soldiers so long stood, they were so proud. 

After this guide tour we got free time. First Sarah and I drove with the “Underground”. After 15 minutes we got out and started a shopping tour! I bought an upper part and a Playboy bag for my sister. Unfortunately it was too expensive in London to buy more. 
After an hour we were so tired that we only wanted to go home. 
But unfortunately we had 2 problems. The first was we had to go to Madam Tussauds museum and the second we still had 1 ½ hours free time. 

It was very hard to do anything because we were so tired and so we went in the Underground and drove a round to sleep. One hour later we took an after-lunch nap before visiting Madam Tussauds museum. The wax figures of Brat Pitt and Jack Sparrow for example were really funny to see. We let photograph purselves with the most famous actors. After a while we all got hungry and went to Arazona, a restaurant. Most of the food was Tunderwhelmed but some of it was okay At last we went to the musical “We will rock you”. We were a little bit late but we arrived at the beginning of the concert. It was great! - good performers, good music and very good light effects. 

After this fantastical event we went home by bus. During this drive we sang the songs from that musical due to the fact that someone had the CD of the musical. Also Verena danced. 

After 40 minutes half of us were sleeping and at the meeting place, we changed to the cars and being home we went directly to bed.
