Hi Teacher!

I wrote this diary just now. I don't know whether the writing is correct!

Could anybody correct this for me?

Thanks a lot!

6th July 2010 Surprising Meeting

I went to Muar to take a Malay oral test this afternoon. To my surprise, I came across many students from the school I studied before. Even more surprising was that, we were in a group in the second part of the exam.
They are still the same--very silly and not serious at all. They can not analyzed and speak a little Malay. Now I understand why I could not communicate with them.

Thank you so much!

Can anyone tell me when we can omit the word "where", in this type of sentence partern?

I came across many students from the school ( ) describe the place.

Can I say?

I came across many students from the school, I studied before.

Great Thanks in Advance.

Hi Lucus;
Lucus OngCan I say?
I came across many students from the school, I studied before.
No. A pronoun is needed to connect the dependent clause with the main clause.

... the school which I attended.
... the school that I attended.

... the school where I studied.

Hi!

I have been confused by this question for a long time already.

I don't know when we can omit the pronoun, and when we cannot.

Can anyone give me some ideas about it?

Thanks a lot.

1) A young man saw Edison, said: " I wanna develop a sort of all-purpose dussolvent, by which can dissolve all materials."

This pronoun can be omitted.

This pronoun can be omitted.
A young man (who) saw Edison, said: ".."
There are several ways you can write this:

1) A young man saw Edison and said... (The sentence has 2 verbs joined with the conjunction
