Dialogue vs. Conversation

What is the difference between these two words?

In my opinion dialogue is rather between to persons, and conversation among many. com/browse/conversation Well, sometimes they can be synonyms. (probably they are, you can use both words, but sometimes they look weird in sentence, it depends on context).
