Co-curricular activities are as important as curricular activities. A: What are co-curricular activities, mother? M: Naat competitions, speech, debates, sports etc are co-curricular activities. A: Why are co-curricular activities important, mother? M: Co-curricular activities are important because they enhance the mental as well as physical health of students. Participating in these activities develop self confidence in students. Students get aware of their own abilities and talent. They provide a student with an opportunity to express his or her thoughts freely. A: Then, I did wrong by not participating in these activities. M: You should participate in these activities. You will enjoy them besides you will learn self-discipline and how to get along with others. You will learn how to try hard to succeed while ready to face adversity. A: Thanks mother.
