dialoge

I didn't understand a line from a dialog.
The woman and man went to a doctor and they are sort of happy that the woman is not pregnant. And that is comedy.

Doctor: You are not pregnant.
Man: Well, that did it.
Doctor: I know this probably comes as quite a disappointment.
Man: Yeah. Huge bummer. So disappointing.

Could you please tell me what "Well, that did it." means in there?

Top answer

Hard to tell exactly. Perhaps 'well, that's the final convincing evidence' or 'well, that proves it'.
