Diagram/Translate a BIG sentence

Okay, so here's the deal: I'm taking Japanese and I felt like challenging my self, so I decided to try to translate a story I wrote into Japanese. Only, I'm a beginner, so that means that I have to know the exact sentence structure.

Here it is.

The girl (that the sigh came from), though fairly good looking, was currently marred by an expression of sheer boredom.

My questions:
1. What sort of phrase is the phrase in parenthesis?
2. What part of speech is 'that'?
3. How would I diagram this sentence?
