I have to answer this question for the University I applying to. But even having strong willingness to achive a positive answer, my english is getting me a lot of troubles. Please could you take a look at this text? Thanks a lot for your help.

WHAT SPECIFICS SUBJECTS ARE YOU MORE INTERESTED IN?

I am principally interested in EVALUATING DEVELOPMENT EFFECTIVENESS without omitting the importance of other relevant subjects on the master's program.
Taking in account that the expression/ concept "development effectiveness"has become a recurring theme in today's international development discourse. And though intuitively self-evident, the concept of development has evolved and seen a significant connotative metamorphosis over the years. I believe that if we really want to reach the Millennium Development Goals we should be capable of optimizing the aid that we are providing.Specially to make corrections when is necessary.
And even knowing that there is a large volume of empirical literature on aid effectiveness that has emerged in the last three decades I think that these studies were principally concerned with the impact of foreign assistance on domestic savings and investment.But I am more interested in learning about the aid-savings relationship to aid- growth relationship.Since these studies have become increasingly sophisticated over the years in terms of econometric techniques, data coverage, and model specification, it is not just a need but a must to be endowed with deeper knowledge and understanding on how its works.
In addition I think that acquiring more skills in this area will help me to ensure sustained commitment along the ONG I work for and and the international partners which support us. Establishing transparent and accountable North-South relationships, based on mutual respect, trust and long-term accompaniment will benefit not only the ONG but also the people we are working with and for.
Also the reflect learning that integrates evidence from my own and others experiences, and the knowledge shared between students from other developing countries is a subject that passionates me.Based in previews experiences I would like lo learn and share about success and fail in different projects ( Case Studies).
On the other hand I would like to provide people the opportunity of learning "how to do Business", I believe that making people selfs-sufficient will stimulate the development of their owns skills and will also contributes to gain more dignity through selfs-achievement. As some said: "Give a man a fish and you had fed min for one day, teach a man to fish and you had fed him for a lifetime".
I aim to support Social Business, not only in its conception but measuring the impact on the people involved in. I rather consider the directly increase of life quality than the Macro-economics reports of the international organizations.( Even being award of its relevance and importance)." Trade is about people and their families" not just percentages and numbers on one sheet of paper.
I prefer the contact to reality, the contact with people more than official issues, that is why I am mostly interested in the micro- dimension of economics and its application in development aid.
Finally and for me personally more important is the fact that I see myself as a development actor,and as one I would like to promote human dignity and accompany people in my country in efforts to realize human rights and fundamental freedoms. In my development efforts,I seek to be effective.
