Developing Tree Diagrams

1. the corrupt official offered him money for the documents

so in sentence #1 the iO is "him" and the dO is "money" and "documents" is the object complement?

is that why the structure is layed out that way, because of the function of the NP's and PP's? ie idO,iO,sC,pC, adjucnt adverbial, conjunct adverbial, disjunct adverbial? does that dictate the structure by itself, does a sentence tree diagram look the same if all of the functions are in the same order?

2. the strong winds toppled the tree in the front yard of our house

and in 2. the dO is "the tree" what is "front yard" and "our house"?
