develop a crush on someone

Hi,

Could we say 'develop a crush on someone', please?
For e.g.  I have developed a huge crush on you.

(Is the word "develop" appropriate in this situation, please?)

Here are some other sentences which I am confused about:

- I have a tendency towards you.
- I have developed a tendency towards you.
- I have developed a tendency towards you since I saw you first.
- I have been developing a tendency towards you since I saw you first.

Thank you.
