Determining meaning with usage

I have read a scripture that says to have faith in Jesus and another says being faithful to Jesus. I would like to know how does the point of " having faith in" compares to" being faithful to". Thank you!!!

In my opinion, "to have faith" describes your state of mind, and "to be faithful" describes your actions.

Anonymous"having faith in" ... "being faithful to"
Briefly, faith is trust; to be faithful is to be loyal. They don't mean the same thing.
