Determiner before belief

The sentence is:

My work ethic together with belief in my abilities has led to success.

Is there a need for "the" or "my" before belief?

Since "work ethic" and "belief" are not joined by "and," it is not clear if the first "my" will apply to "belief" also.

If one adds "the or "my" then the sentence remains still awkward ( "the belief in my abilities" doesn't show who has these beliefs and "my belief" makes it one too many "my"s in the sentence). Better way?

I would use 'my belief' there.

Where did you learn that sentences may contain one or two 'my's, but not three or more?

There is nothing wrong grammatically with 3 "my"s but it does sound awkward stylistically so better to avoid it.

It does a need a "my" or "the" for correct grammar. Why you say it does not?

You are apparently trying to answer your own question. As you have been told, there is mothing wrong with using 'my' three times if it's appropriate.

I already know there is nothing wrong with 3 "my"s as I stated.

Your post doesn't answer the question. Why does it not need a "my" or "the?"

The rules of conjunction-reduction do not apply with "together with" or linkers like "combined with." So the first "my" does not carry over to the "belief" and belief ends up with no determiner. What's your citation for the first "my" applyi
