DETERIORATE TO A POINT WHEN/WHERE (condtion)

Can someone help me with this please?

1 My mental condition is close to that of hers, but mine has deteriorated to a point where/when I could not cope with the outside world at which point I was taken to an asylum./ which is when I was taken to an asylum. (When would you use "WHICH IS WHEN"?)

Which small change makes both these continuations possible:
