Detail but simple facts makes the book a great read.
Should it be detailed as in a participle phrase? or detail as in an adjective? Makes as in third person singular? if i use detailed as in a participle phrase, do i need to change the tense ( makes ) to past form? D: it's confusing

Welcome to English Forums, kmlkz. I would reverse the order: Simple but detailed facts make the book a good read . 'Detailed' is an adjective.
