Destination

Does the term 'destination' make sense in this context:

"The cab driver took us to the destination we asked."

THANK YOU.

'destination' is fine, but we don't "ask a destination". You'll need something more like "specify". The cab driver took us to the destination we [specified / described].

  • 'destination' is fine, but we don't "ask a destination".
  • You'll need something more like "specify".
  • The cab driver took us to the destination we [specified / described].
  • Strangely enough, 'request' will work where 'ask' will not, so you can also do this, which is even closer to what you wrote: The cab driver took us to the destination we requested.
