Hi,
I think your first sentence is the best. If you think of 'dessert' as a category of delicious sweet stuff enjoyed with coffee after dinner then you don't need to add an 's'. It would already be plural--like soup. Most people would not say, "What kind of soups do you have." They would say, "What kinds of soup do you have."
