Designing

1a. Your colleague looks more and more crafty/artful/designing. You'd better not socialize with him.

1b. Your co-worker looks more and more crafty/artful/designing. You'd better stop socializing with him.

Are "crafty", "artful" and "designing" the same meaning in this context? Are these two sentences grammatical and ok to say?

Thank you very much, Teachers

Hi, 'Artful' and 'designing' are not wrong, but they are not really natural in ths kind of everyday English. You could say eg Your colleague looks sneaky. eg Your colleague looks like you shouldn't trust him.
