Hello everybody,
I'm new in this forum but I'm sure I'll find help and hope to be able to help others to write better essays in English...tricky language.
I need someone to please check this paragraph and correct any possible mistakes, especially grammar and sentence construction, I need it to sound like real English if you know what I mean.
"In the origins of the construction of the castle the hill is used to make the most of its more than 8.000 m2 as can be appreciated in the remains of the walls of Islamic period throughout the perimeter of the hill. Several refurbishments were undertaken afterwards the most important been those carried on by the Order of Calatrava during the XIII and XIV centuries. "

Roman numerals are common in historical contexts, especially in the names of kings - we always use Louis XIV, not Louis the 14th!
