Description of an appoinment to another city
If anybody correct my writing I am pleased. Thanks:
Khumar immediately went to the Police Department in Pradesh and found the chief of the Police Department in his office waiting for him. He handed the letter of appointment to him. The Chief welcomed him and spoke about the department and the officers he would be working with. Then he took Khumar to the Bureau of Narcotics and introduced him to the staff working there. They talked here and there for a while.
“Do you need a house to lodge?” asked one officer.
“Yes,” replied Zeki.
“Let’s put an ad of, NEED A HOUSE, on the board at the entrance of the building,” the chief pointed.
“Where are you staying tonight?” he asked further.
“I think, I’ll go to the Guest House,” Khumar replied.
“Have you reserved a room yet?” he wanted to make sure.
“Not yet, Sir,” answered Khumar.
The Chief made a phone call and arranged one room for Khumar. After work, he took him to the Guest House and offered him a welcome dinner. After the dinner he filled the necessary documents for the hotel stay of Khumar and left.
