Describing real-life situations no. 2 - a very short paragraph (3 lines) about the way home
Dear Users,
Here's a short description of my way home. It happened yesterday. I find it most useful to develop my skills to drop a few lines. Can you please correct every sentence that doesn't sound natural to you? (Most of them lack native-like quality in my opinion)
After work I grabbed my ebike and set off on the way home. On the way I stopped at a bakery to buy two baguettes. Having done that I was riding home again when quite a dangerous thing occurred. I was crossing the crossroads straight when a car on my right-hand side quickly did a leftt-turn and forced me to break rapidly even though I had the right-of-way.
Thanks a million!
PS. I think there's too many "on the way's"

After work I grabbed my ebike and headed for home. On the way I stopped at a bakery to buy two French loaves. Then something dangerous happened. I was going across an intersection when a car on my right did a quick left turn and made me brake hard even though I had the right-of-way.
