Describing my pet

I'm trying to write a little piece to describe my dog in Eng. Could anyone here to check and correct my grammar to let me know my problem in Eng. Thank you!

"My puppy is called Roger. She is two years old now. Having a pet is really an interesting experience. The feelings are so impress. In certain extend, having a pet is really like raising a child. My whole interior motherhood has all been pull out by her. I know I might not be her "number 1" master(as my husband is), she might not be that obey to me as my husband, I still enjoy so much the time with her and taking care of her. As long as I know she's living happily with us, having a healthy condition, I feel happy and great. I found that she has a very strong sense of feelings that she knows when we are happy and sad, and it seems that she knows some of our thinkings. And she loves going out. Everything we said to her,"Let's go out for a walk." Then, she become so excited, keep jumping and hoping and leading us to the front door of the house to let go."

Roger is a man's name normally in English! Is Roger male or female? If the dog is male then use HE and HIM.

My puppy is called Roger, and she is two years old. Having a pet is an interesting experience. In certain extent, having a pet is really like raising a child. My maternal instincts have all been aroused by her. I know that I am not her "number 1" master (as my husband is),

Hi Dave Phillips,

You're really kind and helpful. Here, I've a question.

"I know that I am not her "number 1" master (as my husband is), and she might not be as obedient to me as my husband, but I still enjoy having time with her and taking care of her." ---> pinpoint to the second part of the sentence, it means that my dog, Roger is more obedient to my husband tha

I think then you could re-write its section to say;

I am fully aware that Roger (as all dogs do) has a sense of hierarchy and places my husband above myself, however I still enjoy etc.

You can always state that she is an obedient dog in another place.

I did briefly look at describing the weather (prior to this one) and started to lose the gist of your meaning so have le
