Describing A Photo (In The Garden)

Hello teachers,

Here is another topic about description. I chose a random cartoon picture from google, and I'm trying to describe it. My purpose is to be able to describe things well in speaking. There are some details that aren't necessary, I know, but I wrote them, though. Because I wanted to learn how to describe things in detail. There are some movements, actions, and ways of sittings, for instance, that I don't know how to describe. Moreover, I'm practicing using prepositions correctly. I'll put the link to the picture to be easier for you. But please, I suggest reading my description before opening the link. I'd like to know, based on my description, can you imagine the scene I described before looking at the picture?

Here is the link:

The picture describes people having fun on a sunny day and enjoying their time by spending it in the garden and doing different activities.

On the right side of the picture, I see a couple sitting on a chair with their children. The man has blond hair, and he's wearing a red T-shirt with black trousers. His wife has black hair, and she's wearing a black T-shirt with blue trousers. They seem to have four children, a couple of twins. The first twins are a baby boy and a baby girl.

The baby boy is sitting between them. He is crying out loud while his father's trying to comfort him with a baby rattle in his hand. The father is holding a bottle of milk in his left hand. The mother seems confused about what to do with her baby's crying. On the other hand, the baby girl is sitting calmly next to her mother while watching a butterfly flying over her head. Actually, she's sitting on the edge of the chair. She's close to falling.

The other twins are a girl and a boy. They seem to be four years old. They're happily playing football in front of their parents.

Not too far from them, there is a man in sport clothes running down the road. Near the man but on the grass, there is a man sitting at the table. He's using his PC. There is a small aquarium next to him on the table. It has one golden fish. There is also a white rabbit under the table. I think these are his lovely pets.

Behind the couple, there are three people enjoying their time on a rug ?1?on the grass. The first man is sitting__?2?while eating an apple. The other one is lying on the ground. He seems completely relaxed. There is a big umbrella over his head to avoid sunlight. Behind the scene, there is a nice lake with some birds in it. I can also see a swimmer swimming with them.

There is a warning sign next to the trash can. It warns others from throwing their garbage out of the can. Nevertheless, there is some stuff thrown next to?3?the can such as a banana peel, a newspaper, and a water bottle. Nobody really cares.

On the left side of the picture, there is a big tree with a small cottage built on it. There is also a ladder attached to the cottage to help others get to it.?4?I can see some kids playing there. There is a boy hanging himself upside down. Another boy is climbing the raddle to get to the cottage. There is a black cat coming out of the cottage. I think it's standing at the best location because the sky is blue and the air is cool and it can see everything better.

There is a painter standing in the garden drawing the whole scene. There is an old man with white hair and a white, long beard coming into the garden for walking. He's holding a stick in his hand. In front of him, there is an old lady carrying a box that's filled with gifts. She may want to give them as presents for her grandchildren's birthdays.

In the middle of the picture, there is a robot giving a little girl ice cream. Behind him, there is a policeman smiling at a dog. He's holding?5? a plate of food for it. The dog looks excited.

On the top right of the picture, there are some people waiting to get to the bus.

[1] I'm not sure of its name in English, I took it from the dictionary, there is a "carpet" also but I don't it is.

[2] Is there an English name for this type of sitting?

[3] Can I replace "next to" with "around" or "round"?

[4] Can I use "climb it up" or "reach it up" instead?

[5] Can I use either one of the following "carrying" or "grabbing" instead?

Thank you
