Describing a chart

The diagrams illustrate the proportion of male and female students electing science subjects in one college between 1992 and 2012 and the three common scientific academic disciplines they learning.

As can be seen from the given graphs, it is evident that more males students choosing science subjects than the girls and the most general subjects they choose is Biology

Firstly, the percentage of male students electing science subjects in 1992 was 45% while that of the female students was 25%. After that, the proportion of male students decreased from 45% to 34% in 2012, but it was still more than the percentage of girls, which was about 32%.

Secondly, in 1992, the proportion of students electing Biology was 40%, but in 2002, it dropped significantly to 31%. The percentage of students choosing Physics was 25% in 1992 and it was relatively unchanged in 2012. Besides, the proportion of students who have the choice of computer science was 10% in 1992. After that, they jumped from 10% to 17% in 2012. In conclusion, the most popular science subject was Biology between 1992 and 2012.
