I'm confused about that issue.

1)Imagine you are in showroom and there are various models of cars such as mercedes,bmw,audi...vs. and I told the seller that I am only looking for mercedeses and have 10.000$.In the showroom, there are only 3 mercedeses that are not more expensive than 10.000$ so what should he say to me?

a) There are only 3 cars produced by mercedes and that you can afford.

( Did he describe mercedes or 3 cars produced by mercedes using "that you can afford" sentence.)

b)There are only 3 cars produced by mercedes that you can afford.

We understand that when you say a "Mercedes" you mean a vehicle that was designed and manufactured by the company Mercedes. When you say a Ford, a BMW, a Honda, a Toyota, or a Fiat, you are talking about a car from that manufacturer. Other cars are called by their product line name, not the manufacturer. For example, we say a Buick, a Cadillac, or a Chevrolet (Chevy) and not a "General Motors".
