describe a lane

Hi,
I would like to describe a lane that a family used in a bowling center.

That family must have ordered this. Every time their young children's turns came, two low irony fences were raising up between the lane and the gutters automatically.

Would this make sense to you? Thank you.

Anonymous Would this make sense to you? Thank you. No, but I have not bowled in quite some time.

  • No, but I have not bowled in quite some time.
  • "irony" is probably not the word you want.
  • It is a noun, not an adjective.

I suppose you mean a barrier at the edges of the lane, so the kids would not bowl a gutter ball.

Yes, that's what I mean, and the barrier seemed to go up and down by computer control. Thank you very much for your help, AlpheccaStars!

The bowling alley was very family-friendly. Every time young children came up to bowl, two low guides were raised at the edges of the lanes, so the ball could not roll into the gutter.
