Describe a creative inventor or musician

I would like to talk about a creative person I really admire. That is Thomas Edison

who create the first electric light bulb in the world.

I’ve learned about him since i was in primary school when we studied electricity.

• He has been described as America's greatest inventor and also a talented businessman.
• He developed many devices in fields such as electricity, mass communication, sound recording, and motion pictures which had a widespread impact on the modern industrialized world.
• He had received over 1000 patents all his life.

I’ve read the biography about him on the internet and there was a lot of interesting information which really inspired me a lot.

• He was born into poverty and his childhood was really tough.
• He attended school for only a few months, then was instead taught by his mother. But he showed a voracious appetite for knowledge, reading books on a wide range of subjects at very young age. And he started working as an railroad worker since he was 12

His rise from poor, uneducated worker to one of the most famous men in the world really made him a folk hero.
