Deploy

Hi
In:
"Castling is the only move in which a player can deploy two pieces in one move."

May I replace 'deploy' with 'move'?What does 'deploy mean exactly?

Thanks in advance

The word deploy has roots as a military term, used to describe the placement of equipment and troops in a battlefield. html So I assume that in the context it means to position (or change the position of) two pieces at the same time. org/wiki/Glossary_of_chess#C
